Meera Gastro Centre was founded in the year 2019 by Dr Nagarjun Rao, with the objective of being a one stop destination for all gastro related ailments, with a focus on

The main focus of Meera Gastro Centre is to apply cutting edge techniques of gastro-intestinal surgery to ensure that patients aren’t inconvenienced too much, and also to ensure quicker recovery time in post-op.
Dr. Nagarjun Rao H.T
Dr Nagarjun completed his MBBS from the reputed KS Hegde Medical Academy and then after securing an All India Rank, would go on to complete his MD from the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College, followed by his super-specialty in surgical gastro from Yashoda Hospital, Hyderabad.
His areas of expertise lie in colo-proctology, minimally invasive surgery and advanced GI surgery, following a stint in Pariyaram Medical College. Now he is the head consultant of Meera Gastro Centre while also serving as an associate professor in the surgical gastro department at Father Mullers Medical College, Mangalore.
Outside of the hospital, Dr Nagarjun is fully focused on outdoor activities such as cricket and trekking and is a proponent of fitness, and also an avid fan of Arsenal Football Club
